Kristin's Book Log

Between travelling and being sick I've neither read much, nor posted about it.

Steve Aylett's Slaughtermatic was an odd read. I'm not sure I liked it at all, but there were phrases and paragraphs that made me laugh out loud. (Quite a few of them too).

Oscar Hijuelos's The Mambo Kings Play Songs Of Love was good enough to keep me awake for the last hour of my very very long travel day. I'm curious about the movie now, but apparently it doesn't yet exist on DVD.
