Kristin's Book Log

Dan Simmons' Fires of Eden is a horror novel, in the sense of using supernatural elements rather than of being very scary, set in Hawaii. I think it was the first book I've ever read that used the Hawaiian mythology as its basis. Not bad, but definitely not as good as his SF.
