Last night I finished China Mieville's
The City & the City, a murder mystery in two strange cities. Unlike his other books this isn't fantasy, though doesn't take place anywhere "real". One city is Beszel and the other is Ul Qoma and the story takes place in both, but I'll let you read the book to find out the relation between the two. Check out this
